On Thursday, St. Brigid’s Catholic School Advisory Council has organized a Halloween School Dance-a-thon as our main school fundraiser. We incurred thousands of dollars in expenses to repair the Creative. The Catholic School Advisory Council has worked hard to support all initiatives for the benefit of students in the past. School Cash online closes for the Halloween store tonight at midnight. These tickets are for the treats and extras that students can purchase during their time at the Dance-a-thon. We will be setting up the Halloween store in the Celtic Crossing.
Families are reminded to pay for all donations through School Cash online. We are asking families to collect the various donations and then make a one-time purchase for the total amount of the donations on SCO. Families do have the option of requesting a tax receipt for contributions of $25 or more. To expedite that process, please have your child(ren) return all pledge forms asap after SCO closes. The Dance-a-thon donations is currently scheduled to close Monday at midnight but is now extended until Wednesday at midnight.
On Thursday, there are 3 sessions for the Dance-a-thon. Each session will begin with Mrs. Kapelke’s class performing Thriller. The planned schedule is:
8:50 – JK/SK – Gr. 2 classes
10:00 – Gr. 2/3 – 5/6 classes
12:30 – Gr. 6/7 , 7, and 8 classes
Students are encouraged to wear costumes or black/orange.
Your continued support of our school community is greatly appreciated!
